I'm going to start a weekly blogging ritual.
I'm going to post a photo.
A simple, special, extraordinary moment that was captured.
A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
& a brief description...
“I've always believed in savoring the moments. In the end, they are the only things we'll have.”
Mama was taking a shower. Dad went to go get dinner and Heather was busy; which left no option but to shower with Conner in the bathroom. I grabbed some of his new toys and locked all the doors so he couldn't get out. During my shower, I kept hearing his little wines "maw-maw" "up, up, up", but I figured he'd become quiet soon and begin playing. Well I was half right. He did eventually become quiet. Because he had jumped the tub, and was standing directly behind me where the water was pouring out (he also managed to already get his hands on a bottle of shampoo that went straight into his mouth as displayed so nicely in the pictures below) After I got over how scared he made me, I was laughing. Not just the little chuckles that get me by day to day; but a hard-core, belly hurting , tears coming down, laugh. Eventually Heather came in with a camera to get some quick shots once she heard me laughing.
He is a boy after my own heart!
