OBSESSEDFEST!: Link-Up

So...I just got back into blogging a few weeks ago which makes me a newbie to the blogging world. My biggest followers right now are my fam-bam and facebook friends, but I'm not the only mama who blogs. Actually the blogging world is HUGE these days.

I have been following Mommy blogs for at least a year or ever since Conner was born & I began to relate. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like my need for knowing what is going on in other peoples lives, also known as: nosiness, went up a few notches once I became a Mom which is how we ended up here, other mama blogs and even more specific:
 Obsessed Fest (Link-Up)
helloJAXON

Here are my current obsessions:
Which is totally subject to change.
Leave it to me to be obsessed with something completely new by the time next week rolls around....
1.Nikon J1 Camera.
When I graduated from the i-phone camera to this big boy, I was ecstatic. My boo-thang got me it for Christmas last year (only after me dropping hints the entire year), and I love it. There are a few features it has that I feel are somewhat pointless, like slow-mo videos! I can't realy recall the last time I wished I could watch something 10x slower than normal. I dont have patience so if we are being honest, that sounds like a nightmare. None the less- the camera does capture some seriously awesome shots and I've gotten a lot of crafts around the house done with this sidekick. She's a keeper!

2. Metabolism Boosting Pills
I have way too much baby weight to loose and time is not on my side. Especially with the wedding rolling around. Since hubby got a job at a nutrition shop, I've been trying a lot of different things (along with working out and eating healthier), but these babies are by far my favorite. They make you feel like your nice & content- which makes you cut down your calorie intake by a lot. I also don't feel jittery or cracked-out like other weight-loss products make you feel. I have been losing a few pounds a week and feel healthier and better than ever. I think the added energy boost is just a bonus. They are all around awesome!

3. Gel Nail Polish-Home Kit
This color is my obsession right now. Neon Yellow! & If you haven't tried a at-home gel manicure, you must. The results are identical to a salon manicure and you save so much money. Because I don't get a lot of time to pamper myself, I mean if we are being honest, I am lucky if I can wash my hair more than 2x a week, but whose judging? My favorite brand is Red-Carpet. If gels are your thing, I'd highly recommend the home kit to save you some money.

4. Ginger Ale
I am trying hard to cut out all soda, but Canada Dry Ginger Ale is here for the long run. I started drinking ginger ale when I became pregnant and had killer tummy-aches. Now I just love the taste- or maybe it's the intense carbonation- either way its yummy and I have a stash in my fridge, always.

5. Current Shower Products
I finally have a good combination of shower products that I'm content with. Showers are my shit. If the world was coming to an end, you'd find me spending my last few days relaxing in a shower. Being a shower fan has made me very critical of shower products however, and I'm still working on finding something that is to-die for. OLAY body wash smells great and also feels soft. My hair is fluffy, knotty and so thick. I've tried about four thousand, six hundred and twenty-two shampoo/conditioners (yea, probably that many) and have landed here with Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection Advanced+ Keratin Repair Shampoo + Conditioner. (can you say that 3x fast?!) It's new to the shelves and I bought the sample size to try it out. So far it gets two thumbs up.

You all should link up and join OBSESSEDFEST.
I'd for sure love to hear what all my friends and family are into. Your welcome to join :)
& On a side note-
I'm looking at the time, 2:53AM, which means it's 7/26/12 and it officially Conner's  FIRST birthday. I would get up and do two backflips, if I could, because I'm that excited. I will be busy all weekend so have a fun, safe and family-filled weekend!
XOXO
