I wasn't making the worst decisions-but I wasn't making the BEST like I know I could.
I was doing a few things I loved, but I wasn't filling in my day continuously with things I love.
I had friends whom I adored, but I never made time to see them.
I put my heart and soul into parenting, but none of my time into other areas of life.
I started reading this blog that finally helped me take the first step to changing some of the ways I was thinking. The mother (&author) was so vibrant, full of life and didn't just preach how great life was, but actually lived everyday by making it great, regardless of the negativity. She gave birth to a daughter who surprisingly had down-syndrome, and through that process she learned how to appreciate the unexpected. The blog is called "Enjoying the small things" by Kelle Hampton. (KelleHampton.com)
It didn't happen over night, but I finally have learned how to change something when I don't like the way its going. I finally learned that I am in control, and that's powerful, huh? See how powerful a little perspective can be? I mean, after all, PERSPECTIVE is what we are suppose to think about when we are kind, when we are listening and when we are arguing. Perspective changes everything. Perspective is powerful and since changing my perspective, I finally learned how to live life and not just be alive! the difference could move mountains...
and to my life-long best friend who I fell in love with:
Thanks for showing me how to live...... I am positive that without you and your family... I would not be as far as I am today! I love you to pieces
